The World Economic Forum chose Sarah Bint Youssef Al-Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, for the membership of the Young Global Leadership Council for 2019, which includes members of the most distinguished youth in the areas of government work, business sectors, technology and society, who will work together to draw features of a better future for the world.
Sarah Al-Amiri was chosen for the membership of the young global leadership community, based on her distinguished practical experiences, the outstanding accomplishments achieved at the professional level, her commitment to serving the community at the national and global levels, and her relentless endeavor to participate in making the future.
Al-Amiri said that she will work through the young global leadership community to enhance the image of the UAE and introduce its future directions and visions, and will actively participate in efforts to shape features of a better future for humanity.
Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and CEO of the World Economic Forum, announced in 2004 the founding of the young global leadership community, which really kicked off in 2005, and since then new names are chosen annually for membership in a community of hundreds of members around the world.
