The Emirates Youth Council has announced the opening of candidacy for membership of local youth councils, in cooperation with the local executive councils of the Emirates, with the aim of opening the way for young people to serve their country by participating in the implementation of youth initiatives, and to invest their energies to chart a better future for the UAE.
Applications for candidacy to the local youth councils will be received through the website of the Emirates Youth Council councils.youth.gov.ae, by fulfilling the conditions and questions that reflect the candidate’s personality and skills that contribute to supporting the work of youth councils.
The period of receiving applications, which started from Sunday (2 July 2017), lasts for a period of two weeks until 16 July 2017, provided that this is followed by the processes of sorting the applications, then submitting them to the jury concerned with the selection of members.
Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the UAE, considered that opening the door to run for membership in local councils in cooperation with executive councils is an opportunity for all UAE youth to serve their country through the system of work in youth councils, where young people will contribute to the design and implementation of the best innovative initiatives to serve youth , By familiarizing with the best international practices in the youth sector, and implementing them in a way that suits the Emirati society.
